Symmetrischer Griffschutz aus Stahlblech. Griffschalen aus Holz.<\/p>\n<p>Die Klinge entspricht einem britischen Muster von Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts, vgl. May, Annis, Swords For Sea Service, sword no. 409, page 79, plate 67 sowie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rmg.co.uk\/collections\/objects\/rmgc-object-247867\">https:\/\/www.rmg.co.uk\/collections\/objects\/rmgc-object-247867<\/a> . Dieses Muster wurde in der britischen Marine jedoch nie als Standard eingef\u00fchrt. M\u00f6glicherweise wurde dieses Modell f\u00fcr den Einsatz in Nord-Amerika produziert.
