A very rare short fighting sword, ca. 1850. Massive, curved blade, 62mm broad at the hilt and 8mm thick, with a 12cm ricasso. Blade length 40cm. Steel hand guard fixed to the pommel with a rivet. Leather grip bound with copper wire. Length overall 52cm.
Steel scabbard painted black (paintwork not original) with screwed-in mount.
